In MarketWatch’s Five reasons emerging-markets stocks could outperform U.S. stocks for several years, Lew Altfest says, “I assume China and the U.S. will work out a deal because it is in both parties’ interests.” Lew notes that a resolution in the trade war will prove as a catalyst for investor interest in emerging markets. Though he does not believe President Trump will get all the concessions he is looking for, Lew thinks the deal will be enough to calm worries about trade.
