We are pleased to announce that Karen Altfest, Ph.D., CFP® has been included in Crain’s New York Business’ inaugural list of “Notable Women in Finance”.

Karen and her husband, Lew Altfest, place the highest value on their fiduciary responsibility to put clients first with objective and conflict-free advice. She is dedicated to the empowerment of women through financial education, and continues to pack the house at each of her Financially Savvy Woman® program events throughout the year.

Karen is also a dynamic community leader, dedicating her time and guidance to a number of impactful organizations including the New York Common Pantry, which she founded in 1980 to combat hunger.

We are very proud that Karen has been included in this prominent list with such a dynamic and influential group of financial professionals in NYC.
