Karen and her husband, Lew Altfest, place the highest value on their fiduciary responsibility to put clients first with objective and conflict-free advice. She is dedicated to the empowerment of women through financial education, and continues to pack the house at each of her Financially Savvy Woman® program events throughout the year.
Karen is also a dynamic community leader, dedicating her time and guidance to a number of impactful organizations including the New York Common Pantry, which she founded in 1980 to combat hunger.
