Client Administration


Robert serves as Director of Client Administration. As a member of the firm’s Leadership Committee, he helps shape strategy and contributes to decisions regarding hiring and other management issues.

When Robert joined the firm, he brought with him the deep experience of a career in corporate finance, from Warner-Lambert and Cadbury-Schweppes, and from executive training programs at the Wharton School of Business and Northwestern University.

Robert earned a B.S. in biology from The City College of New York and an M.B.A from New York University.

Away from the office, his interests include horology and mid-20th Century American Art.


Marina provides administrative support, managing client documents, making sure clients are comfortable in our office, and helping with firm communications.

Marina joined the firm in 2004. She received her B.A. from Brooklyn College and graduated at the top of her class from New York Paralegal School. Before joining Altfest, she worked at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, where she received the U.S. Department of Justice Award for her work, and then as chief paralegal for the law office of Mark Rolnik, Esq.

“I truly enjoy the team environment and familial atmosphere that exists at Altfest,” she says. “I firmly believe that the commitment and dedication that each member brings helps us serve the needs of our clients in a very special and unique way.”

Marina is involved in a number of volunteer activities, including as a sponsor and member of Operation Blessing International. She enjoys spending time with her husband, son and two dogs, as well as traveling and cooking.


John's responsibilities include overseeing client administration and maintaining the firm's compliance requirements, overseeing client requests pertaining to their investment accounts, managing process improvement initiatives, integrating new technology that helps clients into the firm's operations, and statistical analysis.

John joined the firm in 2008. He graduated from Pace University’s Lubin School of Businesswhere he was in the Business Honors Program and obtained a B.B.A in finance with a concentration in economics.

John has spoken at industry conferences about technology best practices and was featured in a white paper on technology.

John’s hobbies include travel and lacrosse, which he played collegiately and now officiates.
