Client Administration

ROBERT ALTFEST:
DIRECTOR, CLIENT ADMINISTRATION

Robert serves as Director, Client Administration. As a member of the firm’s Leadership Committee, he helps shape strategy and contributes to decisions regarding hiring and other management issues.

When Robert joined the firm, he brought with him the deep experience of a career in corporate finance, from Warner-Lambert and Cadbury-Schweppes, and from executive training programs at the Wharton School of Business and Northwestern University.

“Client needs come first and there is no close second.”

Robert earned a B.S. in biology from The City College of New York and an M.B.A from New York University.

Away from the office, his interests include horology and mid-20th Century American Art.


PRAKASH ASWANI:
SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR

Prakash is a Senior Administrator at the firm, handling a variety of compliance, human resource and other account administration responsibilities.

Prakash received his B.S. in physics from the University of Bombay and he also attended the University of Michigan. Before joining Altfest in 1999, he served as Controller for Eskay Diamonds, Inc.

“My goal is to provide the best possible service to our clients.”

Away from the office, Prakash enjoys traveling, reading, exploring and going to the movies.


MARINA MARSILLO:
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CEO

Marina serves as Executive Assistant to the CEO. She received her B.A. from Brooklyn College and graduated at the top of her class from New York Paralegal School. Before joining Altfest, she worked at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, where she received the U.S. Department of Justice Award for her work, and then as chief paralegal for a personal injury law firm.

“I truly enjoy the team environment and familial atmosphere that exists at Altfest,” she says. “I firmly believe that the commitment and dedication that each member brings helps us serve the needs of our clients in a very special and unique way.”

Marina is involved in a number of volunteer activities, including as a sponsor and member of Operation Blessing International. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, as well as traveling and cooking.


JOHN VALENTINI:
CLIENT PORTFOLIO ADMINISTRATOR

John joined the firm after graduating from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business. There he was in the Business Honors Program and graduated with a B.B.A in Finance with a concentration in Economics. His responsibilities include administering client requests pertaining to their investment accounts, including opening accounts and transferring assets, and client billing.

“My goal is to fulfill the requests of our clients to the fullest and make them feel comfortable when speaking to me.”

John’s hobbies include travel and lacrosse, which he played collegiately and now officiates.
