He served for five years on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, the nationwide organization of <b>fee-only </b>financial advisors and was formerly a member of the board of the New York chapter of the International Association for Financial Planning.</p> <p>Dr. Altfest is a member of the Finance Faculty of the Lubin School of Business of Pace University. Altfest, of <u>Lew Altfest Answers <i>Almost</i> All Your Questions About Money</u> (McGraw- Hill). In addition, he is co-author of An <u>Introduction to Business</u> (Harper) and numerous articles on financial planning and investments. He is the financial columnist for <u>Medical Economics</u>, selected for his expertise in financial strategies for physicians. Dr. Altfest has appeared on major television, radio and cable business news shows (CNN, CNBC, CBS, NBC and ABC).
